My name is Massimo Ostuni and I’m CEO of RAF Soluzioni, company specialized in the production of heels, toplifts, soles, half soles for shoes repair.
I do this work since 1991 because I always had a passion for shoes and for their craft production. Since I was child I saw my father, who started this company in 1978, working handcrafted shoes.
Requests of the market were increasingly directed towards products for shoe-repair, besides components for shoes production. The artisans were unable to produce large quantities and, at the same time, good quality toplifts. So I decided to specialize our company on this way.
I worked on quality, acquiring during the time new machineries especially developed to improve production techniques. We are always looking at new technologies and market demands, to produce even more interesting articles.
The raw materials we use are all from Italy. Especially the leathers come from Tuscan tanneries using traditional slow-tanning processes.
We package the product thinking about customer’s needs. We divide the order in small packages, on which identification label is applied, and everything is packed in boxes. These details make the difference.
My environmental sensitivity led me to make the company almost completely self-sufficient in terms of energy, creating a photovoltaic system.
